Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking tutoring services with Excel Academics. By scheduling or attending a session, you agree to the following terms.

1. Services

Excel Academics provides one-on-one virtual tutoring services via Zoom, led personally by Ms. Simone. Services are described in full on our Services page and in package documentation provided before enrollment.

2. Scheduling

Live sessions are held on Mondays and Thursdays. Saturday sessions are available for Comprehensive/Specialized families as needed — not a standing weekly session. Scheduling is coordinated by phone call.

3. Payment

• Packages are billed monthly in advance via Zelle, prior to the first session of each billing period.
• Step Up for Students (FES-UA/PEP) scholarship funds accepted — families must notify Excel Academics before enrollment.
• Add-on charges are billed at the time they are scheduled, unless otherwise arranged.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• At least 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule a session.
• Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, are forfeited and non-refundable.
• If Ms. Simone cancels a session, she will notify families as early as possible and offer a makeup at the next available time.
• To cancel or pause a monthly package, 2 weeks' notice is required before the next billing date.
• Add-on sessions follow the same 24-hour cancellation policy and are non-refundable if missed.

5. Refunds

Monthly package fees paid in advance are non-refundable once the billing period has begun, except where Excel Academics cancels sessions without offering a makeup.

6. SMS Communications

By providing a phone number and opting in via our contact form, you consent to receive SMS communications from Excel Academics. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Standard messaging rates may apply. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Conduct

Excel Academics reserves the right to terminate services if a student or family engages in disrespectful, abusive, or disruptive behavior. A prorated refund for unused prepaid sessions may be issued at Ms. Simone's discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Excel Academics provides educational support only and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for the relevant billing period.

9. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, session summaries, and progress reports are for the personal use of the enrolled family only and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
